Dear Residents:

Effective January 16, 2010, the new and improved transfer station facility will be in operation.  The facility is located behind the Hopewell highway garage at 2716 County Road 47.

All non-recyclable waste will be measured using a new and revised punch card.  Please refer to the document section below for further information.

The following procedures have been approved by the Town Board:   

1.  With the exception of larger items that are listed on the schedule below (under documents), all household rubbish, and garbage MUST BE BAGGED for disposal.

2.  Cash will NOT be accepted at the transfer facility.

3.  The cost of each punch card will be $20.00 and may be purchased from the Town Clerk during her office hours, which are:

Monday - Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (closed 12:00 to 1:00)

Wednesday evenings from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Closed on Friday

Residents who have punches remaining on the current cards may continue to use these cards with the understanding that each punch on the new card equals $1.00 in value.
