Hopewell Town Hall

The Town of Hopewell, incorporated in 1822, and located in Ontario County covers approximately 36 square miles.  The Town strives to be a premiere community in Ontario County and the greater Finger Lakes Region, providing a high quality of life to its residents, and an attractive location for appropriate economic development.  Every effort is being made to ensure that future generations inherit a community with a clearly defined identity and a sense of place that celebrates Hopewell's unique assets.

Hopewell is home to the Pageant of Steam (held annually beginning the 2nd Thursday of August) which commemorates the Town's agricultural history and that of its neighboring communities and to the Finger Lakes Performing Arts Center, which offers a wide variety of  concerts in addition to being the summer home to the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra.  Please direct your attention to the Tourism section to learn more about these and other events offered in Hopewell throughout the Year.
