MANDATORY WATER RESTRICTION IN EFFECT - SEPTEMBER 17, 2016 - PLEASE READ NOTICE LISTED BELOW.

TOWN OF HOPEWELL WATER DISTRICTS MANDATORY WATER RESTRICTIONS

Due to the low Water level of Canandaigua Lake, communities who use the Lake for their Water Supply have initiated a MANDATORY WATER CONSERVATION MEASURE. As of September 17, 2016 the Following activities are PROHIBITED until this notice is specifically rescinded:

IRRIGATION
VEHICLE WASHING
FILLING OF SWIMMING POOLS

All customers are asked to reduce their water usage as much as possible through common sense water conservation methods. Any and all conservation will help the lake recover from the drought as quickly as possible.

We will continually keep this notice up to date and post the lifting of this Restriction.

For questions, please contact Ken Potter at 585-394-3960 or kpotterhopewater@aol.com.

Thank you for your support in this measure.
